Merge onto I-10 W via exit number 21B toward LAKE CITY/TALLAHASSEE. 5.0 miles
Take the exit- exit number 351- toward WHITEHOUSE/CECIL FIELD. 0.2 miles
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. <0.1 miles
Turn LEFT onto CHAFFEE RD S/CR-115C. 0.2 miles
Turn LEFT onto W BEAVER ST/FL-10/US-90. 1.2 miles
Turn RIGHT onto HALSEMA RD N. 2.7 miles
HALSEMA RD N becomes FOREST TR RD. 0.4 miles

From Jacksonville Area
Take I-95 S toward St. Augustine
Take the SR-16 E exit- exit number 318- toward Technical Institute/St. Augustine/Flagler
College. Go approximately 3-4 miles and Turn Left onto Woodlawn Road. Follow
Woodlawn Road for approximately one mile and Turn left onto Gaines Road.
Follow Gaines Road until it dead ends into the track.
Armstrong Atlantic State University is located at 11935 Abercorn STreet on
the south side of Savannah, GA. From I-95, turn East on Ga. 204 (Abercorn
St) and proceed 7 miles. The university is on your right. From downtown Savannah,
go south on Abercorn (or west on Ga 204). Armstrong is located approximately
3 miles past the Oglethorpe Mall on your left.
Hutchinson Island is located across the Savannah River, immediately north
of downtown Savannah.
From I-95 exit
onto I-16 East toward downtown Savannah. Take the exit for
US 17 to Hardeville. This will lead you to and over
the Talmadge Bridge. The entrance to Hutchinson Island is from
the right lane only at the South Carolina end of the bridge.
Follow the access road toward the Westin Resort hotel. Turn
left on Resort Drive, between the Golf Club and the Westin
Hotel. Turn left after the Golf Club onto the old track. Go
about 100 yards and turn right into the Golf Club maintenance
area. Follow the signs onto a gravel road about 1/4 mile to
the paddock area and registration.
From US 17 (from
Hardeeville, Bluffton, Hilton Head, etc.) turn left onto Hutchinson
Island at the foot of the Talmadge Bridge. Follow the directions
above once on the island.

The speed limit yon the island
access road is 25 MPH and strictly enforced.

Grand Prize of the Americas Avenue
IS NOT A RACETRACK. It is a developmental road built to race
track standards.

Treat the island area with respect.
Do not speed or litter. We want to be allowed to use this
area again!

Do not impede the flow of traffic
on Grand Prize of the Americas Avenue. Do not park on the
shoulders of this road.

If you tow a trailer, please see
the registration desk to ascertain where you may park your
trailer. This may vary depending upon participation.

Paddock spaces will be assigned
at registration. You must keep your car and support materials
within your assigned paddock.

Bring plenty of liquids and or
foods. There are no concession facilities at this venue.

A "port-a-potty" will
be available.

Every competitor will have and
execute a work assignment.

No "hot-dogging" or
tire warming will be permitted.
Groves High School is located on the corner of Georgia Highway 21 and Wheathill
Road in Garden City. Garden City is a suburb just West of Savannah. There many
ways to get here if you know your way around, but the out of towner, this route
will get you there with much lower chances of becoming lost along the way.
It is not the shortest nor is it the most efficient way to arrive if you are
from the Savannah area.
Use I-95 and exit at Exit 109, on
GA 21. Turn East (toward Savannah/Garden City and travel 6.2
miles to Wheathill Road. Turn onto Wheathill and travel just
past the school. The parking lot entrance is just past the school
building, which is on your left. About a tenth of a mile before
you reach the Wheathill Road intersection, you will pass under
a pedestrian walkway.

Gulfstream Rd. - 3.9 miles
Georgia Highway 307 - 4.8 miles
From Jacksonville, take I-95 North.
Exit onto I-16 West at Exit 99B. Exit onto Bloomingdale
Road at Exit 152.Turn
right onto Bloomingdale Road and travel appoximately 2.8 miles
to U.S 80. Turn left on U.S. 80 and travel approximately 2.5
miles to GA 17. Turn right on GA 17 and travel about 1.9 miles
to Roebling Road (there is a raceway sign on the left.) Turn
right onto Roebling Road and travle all the way to the end of
the pavement -
about 1.9 miles. Roebling Road raceway is on your left.
Please remember that you will driving
through residential areas as you come in to the facility. Everyone
appreciates appropriate driving behavior in these areas. In addition,
NO RACE ENGINES are allowed between 11:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.
on Sunday.
Take I-95 to exit 29. This is south from Savannah and north from Jacksonville.
This exit is the intersection of I-95, U.S. 17, U.S. 82 and GA. 507. Take U.S.
17 North for 5 miles. Follow GA 507 right to Jekyll Island. There is a parking
fee of $3.00 to access the island. Follow the road onto the island all the
way to the end. Turn left onto Beachview Drive. Events are held in the first
parking lot on your right, in view of the Atlantic Ocean.
